Write many many messages on mobile device so that desktop application gets significantly out of sync Make sure you have an outdated (something before v1.18.1) This looks like an untested interaction, which unfortunately is even actively suggested by Signal to the user. I clicked install and that worked, however when opening the signal desktop app after the install, it does not continue the loading process, but immediately gives me access to signal messenger.
Then Signal opened a pop-up window with the note that a more recent signal version could be installed (the loading was not yet finished). I just opened Signal Deskopt application and it started loading messages (quite slow, about 10 messages per 2 seconds or something like that)
